How does Friendly Captcha work?

We have integrated a program code from Friendly Captcha in certain areas of our website (e.g., the contact form). This causes your end device to establish a connection to Friendly Captcha's servers in the context of the protected area.

Your browser receives a computational task from Friendly Captcha. The complexity of the task depends on various risk factors. Your device solves the computational task, which consumes certain system resources, and sends the result to our web server. Our server contacts the Friendly Captcha server via an interface and receives a response as to whether the puzzle was solved correctly by your device.

In addition, your browser transmits connection data, environmental data, interaction data, and functional data to Friendly Captcha. Friendly Captcha evaluates this data and determines how likely it is that it is a human user or a bot and transmits the result to us. Depending on this, we can treat access to our website or individual functions accordingly.
